Helen Minh works in a privately owned studio in NE, Minneapolis.

She has absolutely zero talent in keeping plants alive, despite her love for them. She also loves bugs from afar, but is quite terrified of spiders and beetles.

She started learning how to tattoo in 2013 as a hobby to get her through college at a shop in Osseo, MN. The idea of becoming an artist never really occurred to her, until she one day decided abandoning her dental hygiene career and DDS aspirations to tattoo full time was an insane decision, but one that needed to be made. Her style started out in watercolor, and gradually developed into a botanical/illustrative one, along with art nouveau inspired pieces.

She spends her time tattooing (obviously), taking too many pictures of plants and flowers for inspiration, grooming her cats, looking for a deal on plane tickets, running with her partner, and watching horrible movies like Minecraft with her kiddos. She’d love to put knitting down as a hobby, but unfortunately her short attention span has hindered her to become decent enough to claim so.

She’s horrible (and kinda trying to work on it) at getting back to inquiries, but once committed, is honored and excited to get to make some art on you!
